Terms of Service
Last updated 2 August 2026
These Terms are the agreement between you and mycarrd. By creating an account or publishing a page you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
The service
mycarrd is a free tool for building a single link-in-bio page and publishing it at a public address on mycarrd.link. It is free to use. It is not open source: the source code is ours and is not licensed for reuse.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 where local law sets that age) to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything done through your account.
- Give us an email address you actually control — it is how we reach you and how account recovery works.
- One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise.
Your content
Everything you put on your page stays yours. You keep ownership of your name, bio, images and links.
To run the service, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and display that content — for the sole purpose of operating mycarrd and showing your page to the people you share it with. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You confirm you have the right to publish what you upload, including any logo or image that belongs to someone else.
What you may not publish
Do not use mycarrd to publish or link to:
- Anything illegal where you are, or where your readers are.
- Malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to deceive people into giving up credentials or money.
- Impersonation of another person, brand or organisation.
- Sexual content involving minors, content that sexualises minors, or content that promotes self-harm.
- Harassment, threats, or incitement of violence or hatred against people or groups.
- Spam, bulk-generated pages, or link schemes built to manipulate search engines.
- Material that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy.
Do not attack the service either: no scraping at scale, no probing or circumventing our security, no automated account creation, and no attempts to overload the platform.
Usernames
Usernames are first-come, first-served, with some names reserved for the product itself. We may reclaim a username that is used to impersonate someone, that infringes a trademark, or that is registered purely to resell it. If we reclaim yours, we will tell you at the email address on your account.
Links you publish
Your page points at destinations we do not run. We do not review, endorse or take responsibility for those destinations, and their own terms and privacy policies apply once a visitor leaves your page.
Availability
The service is free, and we do not promise a service level. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of mycarrd, and we may impose reasonable limits to keep it usable for everybody. If we plan to shut the service down, we will give notice and a chance to export your content.
Ending it
You can stop at any time — unpublish your page, or ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these Terms, and we may remove content that does. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will explain why first.
No warranty
mycarrd is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your content will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and continuing to use mycarrd after a change means you accept it. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will signal it in the product before it takes effect.
